Creation of HANA calculation view on S/4 Hana System

Hello,

I have question, can we create HANA calculation views on S4 hana system in HANA modelling perspective(Native Database development).

If yes, then its recommended by SAP?

I am facing same dilemma. Did you get any official confirmation on this from SAP? Have you already created HANA calculation views in S4HANA ?

Answering you directly since the question is a few years old. What exactly is your requirement? Calculation Views can be created on HANA DB with XSC or XSA. Calculation Views cannot be created/managed from S4. Maybe ABAP CDS Views or Table Functions will fulfill your requirement. Hope this helps.
