DMS + Network

i'm searching for an information about the protocol which is used from the dms to transfer the documents to an extern vault with DVA.

I need this to configure our firewall and the ports.

Which user do i have to use for DVA? Is it a user from the connected server with right permissions to access it?

Thanks for your help,

Mathias Semrock

    Hi Mathias,

Even I am working with Vault configuration. Can you share your process with me for the Vault configuration and intial setup?

I am planning to use the DVA method.

I did the following steps to configure vault with DVA.

    1) Maintained the Global Settings:

    Checked the "DVA active"

    DVA User: User1

    Password: 1234

    2)Defined Number Ranges for Vaults

    3) Defined data carrier type "vault"

    a) Define vault: Type: ZA, Description: Vault1, Online checkbox: checked.

    b) Define vault: Vault Path:

    c) DVAcomputer: Blank

Saved the configuration on the SPRO side.

    4) Created the DIR and attached the original file: docA from my c drive.

    5) Now Checked_In into the vault1. The lock icon is in locked status.

    1) I cannot see any internal number assignment to the file I checked in.

    2) I cannot find the file docA on the server"absyer1"

    3) I can find the file saved into my temp folder.
