How to display infotype numbers in pa30 menu?

Dear all,

How can infotype numbers be showed in the menu of pa20/pa30 without changing the table V_T582A?
This table has to be adapted after every patch in every language...

Have you tried to modify the Infotype Text in the relevant Infotype Menus (through spro, Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Customizing Procedures > Infotype Menus > Infotype Menu) ?

We have added the IT number in both the Menus and the Infotypes (through spro, Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Customizing Procedures > Infotypes > Infotypes), and never have to do anything during the annual upgrade, and I don't think we had to do anything during the migration from ERP 6.00 to ERP 6.07 and then ERP 6.08.

There already are many postings on this subject (such as https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/1680015), and there should be no need to reconfigure it after every update.

Yes, I found them,but everywhere they wrote to adapt table T582S or to insert the parameter HR_DISP_INFTY_NUM.

But the parameter only helps to show the number in the IT view itself but not in the menu. And the text from T582S is every time overwritten when you upgrade the system. (and this is not really a solution to do it every time new when you have about 15 languages in the system)

So the last solution for the moment was to adapt the coding in program SAPMP50A, include MP50AF80, form RE582S.

CONCATENATE t582s-itext ' (' t582s-infty ')' into t582s-itext.
