ESS / MSS integration with EIC

Hi

Platform: ECC 6.0 Enhancement Pack-1/2/3. Can someone guide me how to integrate the ESS/MSS-on-behalf functionality into the Employee Interaction Centre (ECC version)?

There is an SAP ramp-up ppt that mentions that a cookbook is available, ideally I'd like the cookbook.

Another ppt suggests use of transaction launcher but not clear how the on-behalf functionality actually gets invoked.

SAP Help only mentions that the homepage framework can be used, no further guidance.

In the standard ESS customising entries there is a header and an area group page for ESS-in-EIC but not sure how this can be launched from EIC.

The transaction launcher will allow you to launch the following:

- IC Webclient Services

-R/3 Transactions using ITS or SAP Gui

-HTML applications

-ESS exectutions 'on behalf of employee' (Web Dynpro)

I would also check out www.eicexperts.com as they have participated in several EIC implementation and have lots of good information.

I would think it would be very similar (if nto near exact) to how ESS-in-MSS works. Looked there for hints?

Sorry, but can't help with the cookbook. You are actually the first person I have seen even mention EIC. 😃
