Analysis for Office 2.4.1 Performance

Hi All,

We are using Analysis for Office (AFO) 2.4.1 and excel is on Office2016. This both software is installation of 32 bit.

We are experiencing performance issues when using AFO for EPM reports. We have also tested same reports with higher version of AFO to check performance of BPC reports but no luck on BPC reports execution time.

Anyone of your customer/partner is also using AFO for EPM reportings? How is your feedback with AFO? Please advice.

With Regards

Please explain what do you mean by "performance issues"??

    Hello Anukul

Just realize, that performance of the reports is rarely an issue of the front-end (this is why upgrading doesn't make a difference)

You can start with this KBA:

I suggest you try to capture the MDX, and then run this directly on BW (T-code 'mdxtest'). If this gives you similar performance, you are looking purely at a BW issue and not EPM/AO
