Hi Kalaivani,
You can see this link from http://help.sap.com (The SAP Help Portal provides web-based documentation for all SAP Solutions. This enables you to search the online library for the right information where and when you need it.)
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/07/dad131443b314988eeece94506f861/frameset.htm
Kind Regards,
Lubi
Hi Kalaivani,
You can see this topic which is about Approval Maintenance and the parameters for configuring the report:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/35/d07c265482154a8036652768c99e14/frameset.htm
This report only searches folders for which the approval process is active. It finds folders and documents that match the selection parameters.
Regards,
Lubi
Hi Kalaivani,
Starting Reports
You can either start a report immediately or define a schedule. With a schedule, you can either start a report once at a given time, or start it at regular intervals.
If you set a schedule, the actual start time depends on the configuration of the report scheduler task
More information: Report Scheduler Task http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/aa/6a0d40c04af72ee10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
Displaying Reports
On the start page, click the symbol or name of the report (for example, Link Consistency). A list of reports is displayed. If a report has the type Result, you can click its name to display a results list.
Above the results list, you can see the parameters used to execute the report.
To display a list of all running reports, choose Content Management >> Reports >> Related Links and then choose Running Reports, or choose System Administration >> Monitoring >> Knowledge Management >> Running Reports.
For more information, see the link (topic: Reports) in SAP Library : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/07/dad131443b314988eeece94506f861/frameset.htm

Lubi

Hi Lubi,
You said,
+*If you set a schedule, the actual start time depends on the configuration of the report scheduler task*+
Actually i am new to this, so can you help me how to configure the report in the report scheduler task to make it to run at the regular intervals and generate reports.
Thanks and Regards,
Kalaivani
Hi Kalaivani,
Okey I will help you how to configure the report in the report scheduler task to make it to run at the regular intervals and generate reports.
This is a function and you have to fill the parameters which are available for the definition of a report scheduler task.
Activities
You have to define the CM installation on which the report scheduler is to be carried out. You only have to do this once. You do not need to make any other configuration changes.
To assign the report scheduler task to a CM installation, choose System Administration >> System Configuration >> Knowledge Management >> Content Management >> Global Services >> Scheduler Tasks >> Report Scheduler Task
Use
The report scheduler task is used to start reports at predefined times.
Prerequisites
The reporting service is activated.
Features
The following parameters are available for the definition of a report scheduler task.
Parameters of Report Scheduler Tasks: you can see them in table at this link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/aa/6a0d40c04af72ee10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm

Lubi
Hi Lubi,
All these i have read before in the link which you have sent me. Please clarify these,
1. How to define the CM installation ?
2. How the reports are configured in report scheduler task ? (Where we are making reference of the reports in the report scheduler task)
I have tried creating New task in the Report Scheduler Task, but there is no way to mention the name of the report. Then how it will make the scheduled report to run.
Thanks and Regards,
Kalaivani
1) To define the CM installation :
Content Management System : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/1f/2df44eeebf8145b67b31f513a83fc5/frameset.htm
Content Management Configuration: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/69/d96b7aa84611d5993600508b6b8b11/frameset.htm
Scheduler Tasks: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/3a/bc37b5789dee4eaa8005bff84f14cf/frameset.htm
2) How the reports are configured in report scheduler task ? (Where we are making reference of the reports in the report scheduler task) --> with CM Systems parameter which specifies the Content Management system on which the task is executed.
Hi Lubi,
When i go to, Content Management -> Global Services -> System Landscape Definitions -> Systems , there i can able to view the systems which are installed.
And when i go to, System Administration -> Monitoring -> Component Monitor -> Services -> scheduler , there i can able to view those systems are running. But i could not able to see my scheduled reports are running there, do i need to have any other configuration to view my scheduled reports.
Thanks and Regards,
Kalaivani

Hi Lubi,

Actually, previously my doubt was, i couldnot able to generate my reports automatically at regular intervals. But now that problem was solved.
I have one more doubt, please help me in finding solution for that,
I need to send these generated reports through mail when it is getting created. How is this possible.
Thanks and Regards,
Kalaivani
Hi Kalaivani,
Navigation Path: System Administration >> Monitoring >> Knowledge Management >> Running Reports
Open More commands and choose Subscription and you have to write the parameters fields:
Subscriptions allow users to be notified when certain operations have been performed on an item. Use 'Frequency' to determine whether the notifications should be sent immediately or only summarized periodically.

Hi Lubi,
Actually in that path,
System Administration >> Monitoring >> Knowledge Management >> Running Reports
there is no reports are displaying. But the reports are getting generated at regular intervals.
Can you please guide me, do we need to configure any thing to see the running reports.
Thanks and Regards,
Kalaivani
Hi Kalaivani,
Running reports - Displays information on reports that are currently running in the background. If necessary, you can stop the reports. For more information, see [Reports |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/07/dad131443b314988eeece94506f861/frameset.htm]

Hi Lubi,
I have navigated to the Running Report related link, but i could not able to view the reports which are running at the background.
My another major problem is,
I am getting all the notifications in the Universal Worklist, but that is not coming to my Outlook. Let me know whether i need to have any other configuration.
{One more thing is, if i do any change in the subscription parameters i am getting mail like,
Subscription Administration generated this notification:
________________________________________
The recipient list for the subscription ReportforApproval was changed.
This link will delete the subscription.
________________________________________
Do not reply to this automated mail.
But for newly generated reports i am not receiving any mails to my Outlook.}
Kindly help me in getting the problem solved.
Thanks and Regards,
Kalaivani
