Solution Manager download not available

Hi Guys,

We have recently purchased Net Weaver Development Subscription for our company. We received about 20 DVD's and access to many software for downloads but I don't see any Solution manager DVD in this set.

When I go to download area I don't see SAP Solution Manager product available for the download. This subscription has given us all the software under Net Weaver but there is not solution manager. What is the best way to receive solution manager software.

I was under impression that Solution manager comes free with SAP NW license. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can Download Solution Manager 4.0 from

http://www.service.sap.com/swdc

Download -> Installations and Upgrades ->Search for Installations and Upgrades ->Entry by Application Group ->My Company's Application Components -> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER -> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 4.0

My company has a Net Weaver Development Subscription and we are in the midst of installing NW. We are stuck at the install page that requires a Solution Manager Key.

We don't want to install the Solution Manager just for this key. Considering we have the Subscription, how and where do we go to get a key from a hosted Solution Manager?

We are facing tight deadlines on this install and any help would be appreciated.

Log into the SDN with your subscription login id starting with "P*********"

Go to https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/subscriptions/instkey-request

It is the page with hosted solution manager interface. Enter required entries and you will receive the key via e-mail.

I will also encourage you to visit FAQ section under subscription tag. That will answer many of your questions.

Hi Hardik,

It's absolutely free, there is no additional cost involved. May be some misplace in the shipment dept, you raise a service massage by registering a dummy system or call SAP they will ship the product.
