how are BSIS and COEP linked?

Is there a link between BSIS and COEP tables?

Any reference doc number can be populated from COEP to BSIS automatically?

My requirement is to find how the BSIS-XBLNR can be linked to COEP?

pl advise.

Hi

There is no Link (for programs you can use the FI document number, company code, NA document)

In the COEP you have (normal) only P&L accounts and in the BSIS balans and P&L accounts.

In the COEP you can have internal CO documents without entries in the BSID.

To put my question in a better way,

when I enter a document with FB50, it generates controlling docs and also populates the FI doc number in the reference field of COEP.

When I post a document with KB21N, it does generate the FI docs but does not populate the reference doc field.

I need to find how is FB50 behaving. I tried to do a debug but not of much help.

Hi,

When you use KB21N and the control object is in 1 company code there is no FI document.

When there are cost centers in 2 companies code's it will create 2 (3) FI documents (1 inter company document). There is only reference filed available.

The posting are different by SAP version and your set up. When you use reconciliation ledger there is one posting an in the new versions you can post the FI document direct with the CO document

Thanks Paul. This is a very helpful info.

Do you know what triggers this Co doc from Fb50 or vice versa.

I am on ECC5 SP19.
