Multi provider in BW3.5

Hi all,

I have two cubes cube A & cube B.

cube A

Customer no Mat no qty Price

c100 m100 10 100

c200 m200 10 200

cube b

Customer no Mat no Rev

c100 m100 1000

c200 m200 2000

I need the out put could be

cno mno price qty rev

c100 m100 100 10 1000

c200 m200 200 20 2000

For this i create multiprovider and use both cube and create identification but i donn know how i join custmor no(field name which is common in both cube) from one cube with customer no from another cube.

can anybody give some idea for the same.

Hi Ankit,

As u have common charecterstics its very easy to build a multiprovider

After defining the dimensions,you need to select (Check mark)the Customer ,Material Infoobject from both the cubes in "identification"tab.

Once it is done,you can generate any report based on both the cubes

HI Ankit,

Create a Multiprovider and select all 3 infocubes, now the multiprovide tabs are Characteristics , TIme characteristics and key figures.

Select necessary characters from right side to move to left side, like choose time characteristics and Keyfigures.

After this create a Dimension for multiprovider and Assign your charecteristics within your dimension.

In characteristics tab you can see "IDENTIFICATION" tab , click this tab and choose one field (unique) .

In keyfigures tab you can see "SELECTION" , click this to choose one field from all common fields.

ACtivate your multiprovider.

NOTE: Assign points if it helps
