Simulative Print out of Process Order

Due to an requirement from the regulation authority (FDA etc) our customer needs the possibility to simulate the process order creation, with the aim to get an print-out, which shall look nearly identical in the layout to the “real life” print out from the “real” process order.

The reason for this requirement is because he wants an Opportunity to see how the order will look like, with all his short texts, references to his SOP, etc. to determine where an adjustment of the layout, by adding some lines, is required to meet his design requirements.

All this must be made because the layout will be presented at and released from the public authorities. So after the release by the public authorities, it´s not allowed to change the masterdata, like recipe with the all the texts in it anymore.

I heard the “rumor” (?) that there is the functionality in place, called “Simulative Order”, which enable the user to get everything what he need. Especially a print out of his simulative process order.

First, can anyone answer me if this is a rumor, or if this a hidden feature in SAP ? If yes, where can I find it, customize it etc. ?

Second, does anyone have an idea, how to solve the request with the simulation of a process order ?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
