Crystal Reports on JBOSS EAP with open JDK 1.8

Dear friends,

We are migrating our application from WAS 8.5 to JBOSS EAP 7. We are facing layout and font issues using openJDK 1.8

1)In WAS 8.5 with IBM JDK all records displayed on single page. But with open JDK, its displaying one page for each records. Example 20 records in 20 page. But when export to XL, all records are available in single XL sheet. I also mapped IBM JDK 1.8 in JBOSS EAP 7. Its working fine and all records are displayed on single page.

2)We got null pointer exception during PDF export using openJDK and we fix this null pointer exception by copying required fonts in /lib/fonts/ folder. But now we are getting PDF with lines alone. No records displayed on PDF. I also mapped IBM JDK 1.8 in JBOSS EAP 7. Its working fine and PDF exported with records.

I found below link saying Crystal reports not compatible openJDK and also said it will be fixed in next release.

Please let me know what could be the issue

I am having the exact same issue with openjdk 8u282 version.

were you able to resolve the issue?
