CONTACT MERGE IN GUI

Hi, We have 10000+ contacts segregated as duplicates and want to merge them using SAP CRM standard MERGE functionality .

In WEBUI, we can do the merge as below.

Step 1: Identify the contacts, document the contacts, search the contacts in ACCOUNT search (Ex: For Account A,I have 5 contacts and in that one is MASTER and other four are DUPLICATES) and click MERGE ACCOUNTS link.

Step-2: In the case create POP UP, select the which contact is MASTER through check box and click MERGE NOW

Step:3. In the cleaning case screen, click CONFIRM, SAVE and START. This will schedule the Job in SM37 with name BUPA_REALIGN. This is fine.

If we have 100-200 contacts , we can do the steps 1, 2 & 3 manually in WEBUI. But we have 100000 + contacts under various Accounts and doing these three steps manually is time consuming and cumbersome.

We already identified and documented the duplicates as below in excel

Set 1: Contact A - Duplicate

Set 1: Contact B - Master

Set 1: Contact C - Duplicate

Set 2: Contact F - Master

Set 2: Contact G - Duplicate

Set 3: Contact V - Duplicate

Set 3: Contact K - Master

Set 3: Contact L - Duplicate

Set 3: Contact M- Duplicate

so on.....

Our request is, Is there is any way to do the step 1,2, & 3 in GUI (creating case) by providing the excel as input.
