Sold-to-party determination

Hi,

i've configured my solution manager almost complete now.

But now a problem comes up: when i create a message from the satellite system (help -> create support message), the sold-to-party is filled automatically. But when i create the message directly in the solution manager (via notif_create), the field sold-to-party is empty.

How can i fix this issue?

Thanks in advance

Michael

Hi Micheal,

one way of achiving this by maintaining the details of the Sold to party for a particular Ibase component. so whenever u create message for that ibase, the partner functions maintianed for that ibase will be populated automatically.

you can maintain these details through Ib52 and then select a particular component and then select Goto from the menu and select partner to open up partner assignment screen. here u maintain the sold to party partner function and enter the ID next to it.

Hope this solves your problem.

Reward points for useful answer.

Hi Imran,

thanks for your fast reply.

But it didn't solve my problem.

I've maintained the partner in IB52, but nothing happened.

I also see that the email, which is send automatically after creating a message doesn't have the system data in it. For me it seems, that the system data is fetched after the sold-to-party name is written in the message, so that there is nothing on what the sold-to-party can base on

I mean, that at first, the system data should been fetched, based on this, the sold-to-party.

Can you help me again

Thanks

Michael

Hey Michael,

You need to go to SPRO => SAP Solution Manager => Scenario Specific ...=> Service Desk => Partner Determination procedure => Define Partner Functions => Select from the list the function (I'd guess you should edit SLFN/SLF1) => Partner Functions in Procedure => Pick the line for Sold-to-Party and Set in Access Sequence column 0018 SAP Service: Determination via iBase/Ind.

That worked for me with SDCR.

Hi Auli,

i've checked my customizing but I already has this settings in SPRO.

For messages from the satellite systems it works perfect, only if I create a message IN the solman I've got this problem...any other ideas to solve this?

Thanks

Michael

Hi at all,

I don't have to time to check my issue again, but today I had the time and make a new message IN the SolMan -> After making that message and receiving the email (I made an action on creating a message to send a email to the processor) the email was not completed! The last part of the mail which included the system data was empty - something must be wrong!

Has anybody any idea to solve this?
