PGI Blocking

Hello Gurus,

Pls tell how can we block PGI. Delivery to be created. Picking, packing to be done. But system should not allow to do PGI.

I have created blocks for delivery through

SPRO->Deliveries->Define Reasons for Blocking in ShippingDeliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria.

I could able meet the above requirement by specifying manually while creation of delivery. How could it be automated?

execute

in the criteria

create a new one and select only PGI block

save

now assign this reason in ur scheduline category

As mentioned above, you can do that in the field SpWag, in the blockin reason (SpKom for picking block).

Assign the same blocking reason in the sales docoument type.

Make sure that the same blocking reason is assigned for the Delivery type also (in the IMG), without which the blocking is not effective.

PGI Block is very much possible in SD. Menu path is as follow

SPRO-IMG-Logistic Execution--Shipping--Deliveries-Define reason for Blocking--Deliveries: Blocking Reasons/Criteria----Tick on last column( PGI Block)

PGI block is also done while credit check.

I tried it.

How to automate it ? If u specify in SO doc type or Schedule line cat def, we can't even create delivery. My requirement is PGI block should come in delivery header automatically while creation of delivey. It should allow picking and packing. Authorized User through VL02N remove the block in del and does PGI.

Try assigning the Blocking reason for the Delivery Doc type- Pick n Pack should be possible and PGI is blocked. Make sure the Blocking Reason - only last column PGI block is checked.

There is no block for PGI, but there is Delivery Block. Standard SAP may not support the requirement.

However, The Block may be required to be maintained manually, after picking & packing is done, at Delivery level.

Hi,

Go to VOV8 there you activate the deilvery block for tht order. Still if not works then go to schdule line categories VOV6 there also activate the block for delivery.
