Crystal Reports - Graph Format Connector Line - Changing Color won't stick

On multiple occasions I run into issues with graphs not saving certain format settings I have made. I can open the format pop-up, make the change, see the change take place in the pop-ups preview pane, but clicking Ok on the pop-up does not change my report.

It always seems to happen on graphs that I have made a lot of changes to. As if it reaches a maximum number of formatting edits and refuses to accept anymore changes.

If I copy the graph and try to make changes it still does not work.

If I delete the graph and recreate it, I have no issue.

Is this a known bug?

Auto-arrange is turned off.

I am running SAP BusinessObjects Crystal Reports 2013 Support Pack 4

SAP doesn't care about Crystal and it seems that in Crystal 2016 is the same issue. The colours won't stick to the once that we select. It is vey frustatating to see the lack of support for this product.
