Open Hub, Database Table, Remote Database Server (HANA), and "Delete Data from Table"

I am piloting using OpenHub to push data out of BW to another Data mart on a HANA database.

I am using a Semantic Key and marking the tic to Delete Data from Table.

I've set up a remote connection to a HANA database.

I am pushing master data from an exposed InfoObject.

Here is what is interesting:

  1. When the Open Hub Destination is activated, a table is create both on the BW system and the remote HANA database.
  2. When running a full load for the first time, only the remote database table is populated.
  3. Despite having the "Delete Data from Table" marked, when a subsequent full load is executed, the remote HANA table is NOT truncated.
  4. However, if you delete the Open Hub table on the BW system manually through SE11 or SE14, it the DTP fails to because it can't truncate the table.

This is clearly a bug to me...

Any idea on what I can do, besides writing an ABAP program to truncate the table before data is transferred?

Is there a note that addresses this?
