Hi All,

Problem Statement: We have two procedures in Oracle DB which needs to be run before the view is populated.The View has security built around it . So in order to view the data from the view the Pre Req is to execute the store procedure

I was able to execute the store procedure and view the data from SQL Developer and Toad but the bods JOB runs successfully but won't return any data.

Following script is written in script:

BEGIN STEPSYS.PIMVIEWAPIPCK.SETVIEWCONTEXT ('en_AA','Main');

STEPSYS.PIMVIEWAPIPCK.SETVIEWCONTEXT ('en_AA','Approved');

END;

Please help!!

Hi Junaid Mohammad,

If you want to execute the stored procedure in the SAP Data Services. In script use the SQL function.

Synatax:
sql('Datastore_Name','SQL Query');

Example: Dont forget to use the escape character(/) while using ' '
sql('Datastore_Name','BEGIN STEPSYS.PIMVIEWAPIPCK.SETVIEWCONTEXT (/'en_AA/',/'Main/')');

I hope the above information will be useful to you.
