Understanding Question about sender agreements

Former Member

Hello,

today I have an understanding Question. The last weeks I created a rfcTOjdbc scenario. When I was using the Configuration Wizard in Integration Directory I was said that I would not need a sender agreement. Therefore I did not create one and after some bugfixing(btw: thank you guys, you are great!) the Scenario was working. Now I am writting a documentation about the work with xi and I read on help.sap.com that rfc as sender would require a sender agreement.

Now I am confused.

Maybe you can help me understanding that topic.

Hi,

a sender agreement for rfc is required. It's also discussed here:

Maybe you could try to use the wizard again and are you sure that you don't have a sender agreemen?

It's maybe possible that you have already a sender agreement for you rfc adapter. You should look under the Objects tab in Integration Directory.

Hi, but isn't it kinda strange that even if I add a senderagreement, the Configuration Testing in Integration Directory won't find the sender agreement? but it continues finding the other Configuration Objects properly. All the other Objects are found. But Senderagreement is never found.

Go to Object tab and add to your Scenerio.

For IDOC &HTTP No need Sender Agreement since the Message directly hits the Integration engine.

I did that. but it is not found. Both Conifuration Test and test messages in rwb work fine. Could there be something special because I am using 2 Business Systems?

Hi,

No,Check in the Object tab under respective business systems whether it is available or not and also do complete cache refresh and check it

Hi,

For RFC Sender we need the sender agreement.

For IDOC and the HTTP senders only we dont required sender agreements.

When ever there is no sender communication channel means that time we dont require sender agreements
