No interface objects found in interface determination

Former Member

Hi guys;

i defined a buisness system XX_BS where MY_PRODUCT with MY_SWCV_1.0 is installed.

Unfortunately when i create a Interface Determination in ID for XX_BS no

interfaces are found.

When I look at the properties of XX_BS in the ID.

The tab "other Attributes" shows MY_SWCV_1.0, but the tabs Receiver and Sender have no interfaces.

what´s wrong with my Business System?

Did I a mistake in SLD?

Hope anybody could give some advice.

I appreciate your help

Kind regards

Jochen

Jochen,

Do SLD Cache Refresh in ID and wait for sometime and try again.

Hi Raj;

thanks for the advice.

I already did a cache refresh, but it didn´t help.

How long should I wait?

Thanks for your help

Jochen,

My strong belief is that u've to wait for SLD Cache Refresh not the SXI_CACHE. Can u close and open the editor again?

Hi Raj,

If i understood is correct , he is saying abt the interface which is there in IR with inbound Async.

And the same interface he is not able to see in the BS of receiver TAB.

So thats why i gave the solution to add the MI in the receiver TAB of the BS.

If I understood wrong please correct me

Hi,

What Raj has referred is that, manually entering interface is possible in case we are using Business Service but not in the case of Business Systems. In case of Business Systems the data is taken from the SLD directly. And in this case Business System has been used.

Thanks and Regards,

Sanjeev.

Hi;

I tried do a cache refresh in the ID by "Environment - Clear SLD Data Cache"

If i go to the SLD and make some changes to the Business System XX_BS

e.g. add another product to the Business System and afterwards clear this cache as mentioned above.

this prodcut is shown on the tab OTHER ATTRIBUTES.

unfortunately the tabs RECEIVER and SENDER still contain no entries.

is there anything wrong in SLD??

Kind regards

Hi,

If your Business system is using for sending the IDOC means dont bother abt the Interface in the sender TAB of the BS.

Else if the BS is used for other than IDOC means u need to add the MI in your BS.

Can u check the Message interface that you have created according to the correct mode and direction.

Make sure that abt that is inbound or outbound in MI creation

Hi guys;

thank u for your answers.

I checked the entries in IR.

There is a MI, direction is INBOUND and mode is ASYNC.

this should be correct.

I deleted the criteria, so that all interface are shown in ID and selected the suitable MI.

Afterwards I tested my scenario and I works.

but there is still the issue, that the MI is not found if the criteria XX_BS is selected.

hope you can help

thank u very much

Hi,

Make an entry in the receiver TAb of the BS , then you will be able to see the interface in interface determination while selecting the message interface

Seshagiri,

Do you think you can give manual entry to the Business System? I won't think so.

Hi;

no there is no possibility to make a entry, manually.

Hi,

Thanks buddy,

You cant do it for business system.

For info you can reffer my first reply for this thread.

As i said in the begining itself, its not necessary to add the MI for Business system

Hi;

as I said, I´m using Business System.

Is there no possibility for that? Do I have to use Business Services?

I thought the interfaces a pulled automatically by using the SLD specifications (SWC information)

There is no Idoc sended, but a customer specific XML structure (External definition)

is possibile to solve this issue using a Business SYSTEM or not?

Hi;

i thought this a general topic independent from a specific scenario.

the scenario looks like this.

A customer oder is received.

A BPM is asking a Web Service offered by XX_BS for some detailed information for this order.

the answer of the WS and the original customer order a used to fill a order idoc.

this is send to SAP R/3.

the scenario works fine.

the only issue is that the interface for XX_BS are not shown while define a Interface detemination and using

criteria XX_BS.

hope the scenario is clear

thanks for helping

Hi,

Do SLD cache through in ID. goto Environment---Clear SLD data cache

This should resolve your problem

Hi,

If your Business System is not used at many places then try to delete it from objects tab and then again assign it under Business System. While assingning the Business Sys do not forget to uncheck the box "Create the CC Automatically" .

After doing this go to your Bussiness Scanario and try to add your message interfaces under Interface Determination.

Save & Activate and check.

Hi guys;

this topic is still open.

lately I made a interesting oberservation relating this topic.

In your Developing SLD a similar BusinessSystem is defined.

Bizarrely in this case the interfaces of the SWCV are shown in the the Receiver and Sender tab in ID.

I searched for differents in Quality SLD, but I couldn't detect one.

maybe there are some information lost during transporting IR content from Development to Quality-IR

any ideas?

Kind regards

Jochen

Hi,

check ur IR details...in message interface i think u have not given it as INBOUND...if u dont give inbound interfaces then also u cant see the interfaces name..

Check it and upadate the thread.
