data file add terminated

Dear all

when i add datafile termineted with the following error

please guide

when i increase the db_file-500

in this situation when i shutdown the database ,

dabase will be insonsistant or consistant

log are the foolowings

Hi,

Venkat, in the init<SID>.ora a parameter DB_FILES is set which has the values for the maximum number of data files that can be added.

check the following SAP Notes

SAP Note 398927 - ORA errors because dimensions of parameters are too small

SAP Note 8812 - Increasing max. number of data files in Oracle
