Hello,

I have the following error. I have made already an install and i have uninstall it several days before.

I am trying to install in VMWare workstation and getting same sort of error.But when I try to do 'sc delete SAPDBWWW' in VMware commandline I am getting the attached commandline error.Kindly help me with what am I doing wrong.Thanks in advance.Also further below is the error from the log file:

Hi Jean-Phillippe.

Thank you for your response.

I searched other threads and figured it out.

I was upgrading from NSP 6.4 SP005 to NSP 7.1 SP012. I finally got my installation to work on the fourth attemp.

To get my installation to work I did the following:

1) Run the registry cleaner tool

2) Manually clean the registry (using REGEDIT) of all remaining NSP entries

3) Delete all files associated with prior NSP installations

4) Run the sc delete command in the DOS command window

As usual, the installation of a mini version was frustrating but appears to be worth the anguish.
