hi

I'm trying to create a smartstyle. can anybody tell me the steps to create a smartstyle and what is the function of each node in it.

Hi,

1.Create smartstyle using transaction 'Smartforms'

2.Select The radio Button Style

3.Give your Style Name.

4.create The character Format and Para Format

5. Save and Activate

6.Use it in Smartforms.

Revert back in case any problem

these steps are useful and working fine.

but my requirement is this. i have a letter. in that i want to emphasis a couple of words. how to do this? can we apply styles only to words.

Hi,

Create Character Format for this in the style.

After this go to smartform text node

give the style name in output options.

Select the word which you want to emphasize and select the approprite character format from the drop down box.

It will work.

hi

i created the style and gave the style name in output options.

then selected the word. the text is opened in an editor. but there is no dropdown menu. if i have ur email id, i can send u screen shot.

Hi,

I think it is opening an text editor like word.

After giving style in output options.

Go to general Attribute Tab.

In the editor in tool bar there is a box beside percentage(100%) Click it and you will get all the character and Para. Format.Apply the format by first selecting the letter and then select format.

Hope it helps.

I developed a SF and a style.

In the main window, there is a textnode.

In style, there is a paragraph format P1 and character format C1.

Now my requirement is this:

I want to emphasis 2 words in the text. how to do it?

I n letter window, under output option, style is changed to YSF_1. but I got the normal o/p.

Hi,

You can't emphasize a field u can make it bold.

If your requirement is like that

you have a word 'Hi How r u?' and u want to make it like 'Hi How r u?'

You first create a chracter format with bold font.

Then

You do one thing double click on the text node.

Go to output options-->Give your style Name

Go to general Attributes Tab. Write 'Hi How r u?'

Select 'Hi How' by dragging and select appropriate character format from the editor.

Is this what you want to do?
