Query on HR Head count report

Hi Experts,

I have an issue with regarding HR Headcount report. Requesting some one to help on this.

Problem statement:

We have built a BEX report on HR Cube to get the Head count report. When we run the report for a particular year/quarter/period, we were able to get the latest head count of that particular selection.

But when an employee has transferred from one department to another department, we are able to find two entries for that employee one with old department and other with latest department.

Below is the report when we run the report for the FY 2017

EmployeeID Department FiscalPeriod HeadCount

100001 Accounting 1.2017 1

100001 Sales 9.2017 1

Ideally we should get the second entry as it is the latest entry of an employee.

Kindly suggest how to resolve this issue.

But when we run the report only with employeeID as the selection we are able to get single entry as below.

EmployeeID HeadCount

100001 1
