Service Layer for SetCurrencyRate is not working.

The service for SetCurrencyRate is not working.

It throws an error, Service not found whereas if I try for GetCurrencyRate or GetLocalCurrency, it works accurately. Please find screenshots attached.

Please guide for how to update Exchange Rate Index via SL.

Hi Rohit,

I cannot understand the method is not exposed in your environment and it is in mine.

Can you please double check the version of Service Layer on the Login response? Please share here the response of the Login.

Can you please check your metadata file (use the link in the login response body) to see if the method is listed there or not?

Regards,
Trinidad.

Hello Maria Trinidad, I have the exact same problem, the response for my login says: "Version": "920190"

The method is exposed in the metadata, but I get the next error msg as a response: { "error": { "code": -1002, "message": { "lang": "en-us", "value": "Service Not Found" } } }

Do I need to upgrade the service layer?, if so, can you tell me how?

Thanks!

Hi,

As per SAP Note 2577859 the issue is no longer reproducible in SAP Business One 9.2 Patch Level 10, version for SAP HANA.

Kind regards,

Please refer attachment.

Hi Rohit,

Which SAP Business One version for SAP HANA are you working with?

I know some months ago this feature was not supported by Service Layer but I just tested with B1H 9.2 PL09 version and it works fine.

See the attached screen capture showing a 204 No Content response status:

Trinidad.
