cost center defining

Hi Gurus,

When I do good issue for reservation in MIGO there exist an error. This movement is not possible for this cost center. I search in SPRO but couldn't find such a customizing. Can you someone explain how we assign this control. Probably it depends on material group. As I know hinder for some movement to some cost centers a customizing occurs. Where is it.

Dear Umit,

Check which GL is getting hit. That GL must have created as cost element, hence asking for cost center. If you want cost center to get assigned then assigne a default cost center in cost element master. if not, the delete cost element for the same.

Dear Umit,

Let me understand ur issue first. U r getting an error during MIGO for goods issue against reservation slip. Right?

Now, what i mean to say is, when u r doing MIGO check what is the document entry is passed. If any of that account is a P&L account then only system will ask for a cost center. So find out that GL for which system is asking cost center. Late go to FS00, put that GL account. Hit enter.... click on to 'edit cost element' button on top, go to default assignment & assign a cost center in that field.

Try doing this.
