Set Incoterm and Terms of Payment in Bid Invitation

Hi gurus,

We are using SRM 5.0 on ECS with backend ECC 5.0.

The requirement is that the user want to set incoterm and terms of payment when they create bid invitation.So the bidder can just follow what the purchaser has set in order not to change the value.

Anyway we can do this?

Hi,

You can use the badi "BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI" to set the value for the field Incoterm and terms of payment.Also make these fields DISPLAY ONLY for the Bid screen so that the bidder is not able to change it using the badi "BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI".

But we dont find any field to set incoterm or terms of payment when we create bid invitation.. The value purchaser wants to set depends . So it is not to make a constant value for these two fields.

The function we want to get is like that there are two fields "Incoterm" and "Terms of payment" showed when the purchaser create bid invitation, and the purchaser set some value depends on different situation. The bidder can view the value when they submit the bid but can't change.

If the purchaser leave the field blank,the bidder can change the value according to their situation..

Any solution?

Hi,

If you dont want the Bidder to chnage the values for the fields "terms of payment" , "Incoterm" then you can have 2 options:

1. Make these fields display only using the BADI BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI".

2. Implement checks acc for these fields in the Bid screen if the bidder tries to change these values thorugh the BADI "BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI".
