Process Order Variance Calculation

Former Member

I currently use KKS2 to look at each process order before settling it. My company wants to keep a record of all of the variances of the components. Using KKS2 I have to manually enter the variances by component for every process order that we run, which could be any where for 50-100 a week.

Is there a report in SAP that would allow me to pull all of the details for a group of process orders? I need the Actual/Target quantity and actual/target cost for all components for every process order that we do on a daily basis.

I have looked at KOC4 and all of the other suggestions that I have found on line and none of these seem to work. I had our IT department try to create a report but they would need to have all of the order settled prior to running there report.

I want to use this report before settling and closing the orders to make sure that all of the components are entered correctly on each process order.

Hello Jason,

Looks like you have used wrong tag 'SAP Process Control' which is related to component GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance)- This should have been posted under Controlling-Product Cost controlling. Please repost your question using right tags

Thanks

Hi Jason,

Are you looking for variance report at component level by production order? If yes, i don't think there is such standard sap report. Even though KKS2 you need to click the production order one by one to view the variance at component level. You need to create a customized report.

Thanks.

Yes I was trying to get the report on a component level. My IT department said that they could not build the report without settling the orders first. I was trying to build something in Excel to use the unsettled orders to tell me if there was an issue with the order. We have issue with materials not being scanned to the order and I have to catch these before I close the order.

Hi Jason,

If you want a report for BOM standard quantity vs actual consumption quantity. You can build a report or sap query with table RESB.

Thanks
