Dear Experts,

We have a requirement like administrator user has to get the information like the users who are currently logged into the Portal and who are accessed the specified roles with the time. For this requirement we are going to create the Portal Activity report by following the below steps.

1. First created Portal activity report iview.

2. Added the content(Roles/pages/iviews) to the Activity report iview

3. Open the Activity report iview and select the type of iview as Page/iview Activity

4. Maintained the Reporting period and save.

5. Then created a sample role and assign the activity report iview to the role.

6. Assign the sample role to the Administrator user.

When the administrator click on the role activity report iview is opening and it is not showing any data. It is just showing as "No content available for this particular time interval". Requesting your suggestions for maintaining the reporting time correctly.

Kindly help me to get the data.

Please find the attached screen snaps for your reference.

Thanks and Regards,

Radha

Hi,

Can you please check below documents and confirm if you have configured the portal activity report correctly:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/Creating+a+Portal+Activity+Report+Iview+for+monitoring+Page+and+Iview+activities

In order to activate the Portal Activity Report, the only portal service you need to configure is:

com.sap.portal.activityreport.core/ActivityReport --> "Activate portal activity report" = true.

This configuration requires a restart.

You can also troubleshoot the issue using the following SAP note 1690023 - "Portal Activity Report - Component-specific Note".

If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Regards,

Dharmendra Kumar

Hi Dharmendra/Kamal

Thanks for your information.

We have maintained the Monitor Hits property for the iview. We have configured the Portal activity report service and restarted the service. We have created the two Portal Activity report iviews, one is to see the users who are accessed the iview/pages and another is for the users who are logged into the portal.

Now we can able to see the users who are logged into the portal but not the users who are accessed the iviews/pages. Kindly suggest your thoughts.

Thanks and Regards,

Radha
