ITSmobile Generating Style: mobile5 vs mobile4

Dear Experts,

I was wondering what is the difference between MOBILE5 and MOBILE4 Generating Styles.

1. Which is newer?

2. Is MOBILE5 based on HTML5?

3. When should MOBILE5 be used and when MOBILE4 ?

As currently on every ITSmobile document MOBILE4 is stated as „the preffered/standard“ generating style for ITSmobile devices.

Our System is on NW 7.4. (EWM).

Any Input would be helpful.

Hi Marko,

Recommendation normally would be to use Style: MOBILE4 (Service: ITSGENMOBILE4).

This generation style has generally the best performance.

I didn't find much information about MOBILE5.

Only one seems to be useful:

2027612 - Incorrect generation style in HTML template

"The style MOBILE5 is then set in the HTML template if you use the generation style "Mobile Appliances (Absolute Positioning)".
When you generate an HTML template from an editor template, the style MOBILEEDIT is set."
