maintenance calls

Here is my issue..

the requirement is that maintenance calls will be generated at the beginning of every month (using"Time-key date" and package 1 mon ),it is also required that no past calls will be generated

Any idea if Function module: EXIT_SAPLIPM5_002 can be used to meet these requirements? any other suggestion will be appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi,

If you are planning for single cycle plan, then for monthly cycle key date start date is enough.

If you are doing strategy plan with diff frequency then you have to offset the plan for the current month

    Best wishes

Generate a Plan with scheduling Parameters like this,

If that is Singly Cycle Plan - Start Date should be 1st of every Month (Time)

Startegy Plan - Give Offset accordingly.

    Call horizon is 100%

Confirmation required - Select (if required)

As Mr.Amit has asked, what is that sentence is meant for

    thanks for the reponse

The maintanance plan parameters are :

1.Singly Cycle Plan - Start Date is 01.01.2008

    2.Call horizon is 100%

    3.Confirmation required - Selected

    4.Cycle modification factor=1

by transaction IP10 push on start and save.

    call Plandate

    1 01.02.2008

if the call is completd (Black flag) today 24.03.2008 then

the next call plan date will be 01.03.2008 (that's what I meant "In the past" )

the IP10 screen be then look like:

    Call Completion Plandate

    1 24.03.2008 01.02.2008

    2 01.03.2008

the required output was that call 2 plan date will be 01.04.2008 (that what I meant not in the past )

Also, if I use Shift Factor Late Compl.=100% than the next plandate will 24.04.2008 which also donse not meet the requirment

that the calls Plan date will be exactly at the 1'st at each month

      hi,

I think this is not possible in std. You can skip the call (01.03.08) and proceed with the next call (01.04.08).

But that may not solve your problem. Experts, is there any user exit available for this issue.

      Sam
