SAP API management available on HEC

I have a requirement to setup system for a customer.

They need SAP API management and they already bought HEC from SAP.

Is it possible for to have these services on HEC or They need to have SAP Cloud Platform for this.

Hello Madhav,

I will have to check on the availability of SAP API Management on HEC, but since it is a hosted OnPrem environment (more or less) it would not be OnPrem version rather than the Cloud version if it is supported. Would this be ok for customer need?

It is fine, but what i got here is they have to have SCP to avail the service,

addition to these I have observed that to engage/onboard developers on SAP API management developer portal consumer should have SCN ID created thats also one of the challenges we are facing for SAP Consumers/Developers do you have any inputs for the same?

Hi Madhav,

SAP Cloud Platform can be connected to a customer IDP through SAML 2.0, and SAP API Management can be set to use this IDP as well. I hope this helps with the question.
