Is there any other way please? To assign Automatic Email on the Maintenance Plan if the W/O is created it will notify you that the W.O has been created for this equipment. Is this possible please? If yes please let me know hows the procedure.

Yes, its definately possible. There are a few options to send an email on order creation:

  • Workflow (as described above) - one email per order
  • A user-exit/BADI at the order SAVE event - one email per order
  • A batch program that runs periodically to determine which orders were created (then either send one emial per order, or a single email for all orders created)

.

Either way I suggest you talk with your ABAP team.

You could copy the standard worklow task that is triggered on order creation (TS 20000014) and modify it for your own purposes.
