Hi... there is a back-end program which an admin can run from SAP GUI. You need to provide the user name and the program will unlock all documents locked by the particular user. Unfortunately I do not have access to a system at the moment and can't remember the name (apologies)... perhaps you might be able to locate it by browsing the list of programs?
