Oops ALV Export to Excel is not working properly

Hi Guys,

I am using the OOPS ALV (CL_SALV_TABLE). In the ALV output I can able to see the enabled Excel icon(CTRL + SHIFT +F7) but if i click on that excel it is not downloading with the content insead it converting the alv page into excel. Even though it converts to Excel page none of the records are displaying in that excel.

If i use the LOCAL FILE option it is working fine as Excel.

Hi

CTRL + SHIFT +F7 only changes the view type of the ALV to MS Excel. This is not the "Export as Excel" (Shift+F9)!

Depending on your SAP GUI Security settings and your (windows?) certificate store settings, SAP GUI is not allowed to create, open or run *.xlsx or *.xlsm files on your local device!
