Having Issue while doing PGI for delivery.

Dear sir/ Madam,

I am having issue while doing PGI for delivery. System is going in to dump and giving message type 'X" error. This error is occurring in standard function module ITOB_OBJECT_MODIFY at line no. 161. It is happening while doing PGI for delivery and equipment number are not identical for serial numbers which were used at handling unit level for delivery.

Due to this we are facing many issue like batch job is getting failed in production envionment and abap dump occrring while doing PGI for delivery.

Please let me know how to avoid dump for this and have appropriate message instead of dump.

Check whether OSS note 2123122 is relevant to your issue. If not, you need to explain in detail what circumstances, system is going to dump like for all deliveries or for one particular material, plant etc., Not sure whether you have taken the help of your ABAP team to check ST22 analysis which will give more clarity.

I have checked and found that it is happening due to serial no. inconsistency. i have checked and found that 1 serial no. is getting assigned two equipment no. which is causing this issue.
