Error in opening file when executing a job in SAP Data services

Hie gurus?,I am failing to run a job in SAP data services 4.2 sp9.It s saying error opening file when I execute the Job using the job server that I configured on linux where the SAP BI platform is hosted,however when I execute the same Job using the client job server(configured on client machine on windows),it executes successfully.what might be the problem?

Linux processes cannot read Windows files and vice versa. Unless you use some special software like e.g. Samba.
