Hi,
I have a silly doubt what is catalog no and where it can be viewed. We have BP catalog no, Mfr Catalog no......How can we identify in the documents.
Dear Sandy,
If a Manufacturer number has been defined for an item in the Item Master Data - Purchasing tab - 'MFr catalog No.' field then it can be displayed in the document by choosing to display the 'MFr No.' on row level.
If BP Catalog Numbers are used then the Bp catalog number may replace the Item No on row level in the marketing document.
there is two ways of activating this display:
1.
In the form settings for the document go to the Document tab- General tab. On this tab select the option 'Display BP 'Catalog Number'.
2.
In the Business Partner Catalog Numbers setup on the BP tab there is a check box called 'Use BP Catalog Numbers in Documents'. When this option is selected, any document where this specific Busines Partner is selected will always display the BP Catalog No instead of the Item No.
Hope this helps
Kind Regards,
Noreen

I disagree it is totally possible to show your item number and the BP catalog number on the same screen with a simple formatted search that goes out to the BP catalog table and gets the value and displays it. Once there it can also be printed on the marketing document.
SELECT substitute FROM oscn T0 with (NOLOCK) WHERE T0.itemcode = $[$38.1.0] and T0.cardcode = $[$4.1.0]
