Remodelling in SAP BW 7.5 on HANA

Hi Team,

I need to do remodeling of ADSO, I have to add material type and need to remove material id.

• 1)Data is already loaded into PSA, it loads directly to PSA Table through informatica
• 2)But in datasource the new structure field is not available and need to add in ADSO and do transformation
• 3)Since it is a master data infobject, Master data for these two infoobjects are already available

Doubts :

• 1)Can I add the new required id in Datasource structure and add the new infoobject in ADSO, : will there be any data loss or db issue
• 2)is there any procedure for remodeling in SAP BW 7.5 (BWonHANA)

Environment:

HANA : Version 2.x

BW : 7.5

Remodelling is done automatically but there are no Options like in earlier BW Versions which means you can e.g. not set a value or derive from another field. Which means it is easier now but also more restricted. Remodelling has to be done in all Systems if data is loaded before.

You will get a message in modelling Tools after chaning the ADSO how remodelling Job can be started.
