New column can't be added if the quantity is restricted by 0CALMONTH?

In our query design, first, we drag the characteristic 0CALMONTH (Calendar Year/Month) to the column, then drag the KF quantity to the column that we want to see the monthly quantity values for each Month_Year (eg Jan_1977, Feb_1977, ... Apr_2012, May_2012). It works.

Now we would like to add a new column to show the total of each month. But the frustration thing is that no matter how and where we put the new colunm with formula, find this new column is always be restricted by the 0CALMONTH for each month. Is there anyway to generate a new column which can not be restricted by the characteristic 0CALMONTH?

Thanks!

in such a case you cant use calmonth in columns. you should put that in rows.

hi Venkat,

We've tried to put 0CALMONTH in rows, but it's a mess to show so many rows.

Thanks!

Yeah I understand but it is not possible to do that in columns. Lemme think if something can be done with table interface....
