VA01 Drop down list

Hi all,

When i go to VA01 transaction code i am getting so many number of document types in order type field, is there any why to restrict to see all document types i require only which are related to that project only.

Hi

If we donot assign the sales documents to the sales areas - the system notes that all documents are allowed for all sales areas. To restrict the documents allowed to the sales areas, you have to assign them to the sales areas. you can use the path given in the other replies.

It can be configured ....

GO SALES & Dis. from IMG to sales-->Sales Documents -->Header.....

Assign sales areas to sales document types...

or to TC: OVAO

Define sales organization

TC: OVAM

TC: OVAN

SALES AREAS...

Assign Sales order types to the sales areas....

Hi,

Yes, but you need to maintain the sales area first and check the possible entries F4. you will find allowed document types to the sales area...here not all sales documents are displayed....

i have only one sales area that is why i have not assigned document types to sales area

In that case you cannot restrict functionally.....

If you want it complicated then create a Ztransaction like ZVA01 and then technical guys can do that there...... Here it is possible.... In SAP we can do everything........ Contact your technical guys for help......
