Insert partner function when saving

Hello everyone!

I want to implement the following scenario:

If someone edits a document, when saving, I want him to appear as e.g. "processed by" in the partner tab. This should happen for everyone that edits the message. Also, if someone processes it more than once, sould appear only once as "processed by".

Any ideas?

    hi,

I think first you need to add the partner function 'Processed by' in the partner profile associated to the document.

Then implement BADI Order_save > in the method IF_EX_ORDER_SAVE~PREPARE > Use FM CRM_ORDER_READ to read the current BPs present in the document.

Add logic to add the new BP with 'Processed by' partner function if it is not present already.

Then use FM 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN' or 'CRM_ORDER_SAVE' to save the changes to Order data.

    hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Ashish
