How to use "Extended text" with Excel-AddIn

We use text fields which are longer than 60 characters. Since some releases it is possible to show the full (extended) text in reports by enabling the extended text feature by every user in the report itself.

We now have a C4C report which is only used in excel (via C4C Excel AddIn). No assignment for HTML5 is planned. How can we manage that the text fields are shown completely?

We know that it works when we assign the report for usage in HTML5 and every and each user enables the text for "show extended text". Afterwards the Excel AddIn shows the extended test as well.

But a) this report should not appear in HTML5 and b) we cannot make sure that every user really uses the flag before he uses the Excel report.

Is there any option to solve this issue?

Is there an option to enable the extended text centrally for everybody?

    Extended Text in Excel Add-in is going to available from 1611 onwards. Please check
