EP logon with logon information of LDAP server(SSO from exchange server)

Hi.

our company use MS exchange server as groupware, and almost of system in our company uses

SSO of groupware server with ldap.

I would make Single Sign On on CRM EP with logon information of groupware.

How can I do?

is it possible logon EP without entering SAP ID/PW?

and is it possible give role to user without standard logon process?

There are many SSO options for getting into EP without explicit login/password.

LDAP, Groupware, etc. will all help you maintain and manage user IDs and their attributes. If you want to allow users to login to their windows PC and then not have to enter a password to get into EP, you'll have to look at Kerberos or X.509 client certificates.

The easiest way is to use the kerberos ticket generated from LDAP authentication, configure your portal J2EE engine to accept kerberos tickets & to generate SAP logon tickets for SSO to backend systems for the portal.
