Heterogeneous system copy HANA source on big endian

Hello,

Is it possible to perform a system copy with the following source and target?

Source DB: HANA 122.10 running on IBM Power Big Endian. OS: SLES 11.4

Target DB: HANA 122.14 running on Intel x86_64 Little Endian OS SLES 12.1

Do I need to use the database independent system copy? I'm not clear if I can have HANA as a source database.
