Hello,
I have a question about the difference between the search result of ES Workplace and Services Registry.
Let me explain by "GoodsMovment" business object as a example.
When I searched this at ES Workplace, result page showed 10 service operations in Goods Movement.
But when I checked them GoodsMovement at Service Registry, I got only 4 services. And I checked this object at WS Navigator but still same result (4 services)
I don't know why...
Could you give me your advice or comment about this?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Piyush,
Yes. I will try to install ESR. I believe that's nice expereience to me.
Thank you for kind help.
Best Regards,
Makoto

Hi Piushi,
Thank you for your comment.
I understand the reason of this difference by your explanation.
I'd like to know the implemenataion schedule of specific service ES which has not implemented yet.
Do you know how to manage schedule or how to know contact person for each ES?
Best Regards,
Makoto Nasu

Hi Makoto,
One correction from my previous post. Actually I placed the words in wrong manner.ES Workplace contains services which are modeled and it also contains implementation of some services, but not of all services. Actually I placed the words in wrong manner.
No, there is no person or team whom you can interact directly. ES Workplace or enhancement package is the only way to see the latest content delivered by SAP.

Hi Makoto,
If you want to evaluate services, you can register at ES Workplace.
By registering you would be able to get the WSDL for services and also access to SAP Discovery System where these services are implemented.
You would be able to test/evaluate implemented service by communicating to SAP Discovery System by web service sonsumer tools

Hi Makoto,
Service Registry contains the operations which has been implemented. while ES Workplace contains the definition of operations which are only modeled but not implemented.
First the models are designed, ( i.e metadata of services are defined in ESR) and then they are implemented in Java or ABAP . Once implementation is finished, they are published into registry.

Piyush
