Hi, I'm using a SQL Connection in SAC and have created a Model with Free Hand Query. I'm still developing the model so need to make adjustments to the query but I don't see an option to do that. When I select the query edit button I'm only given an option to view the query but not edit it.
Any suggestions or alternatives?
Thanks, Todd
Hello Todd,
As it is described on the updating and scheduling models help page, it is not possible to edit the freehand SQL used for model creation: "Query filters can be modified, but columns cannot be added, removed, or changed. In the case of SQL databases, freehand SQL queries can't be edited."
What you can do is importing a new SQL query to the existing model.
Best Regards,
Mate
