Offline PDF upload and context mapping.

Dear Adobe Guru's,

I am trying to work with the offline scenario where in which the field rep collects the data in PDF and uploads the form into a WD application and I need to catch the values of the fields. The upload/download tutorial concentrates on displaying the PDF uploaded but not how to do the context mapping. Can some one throw the light here how I can achieve the context mapping. Appreciate your inputs here.

Thanks!

Surya.

Hi Surya!!!

As I can understand, you are facing problem in mapping. Lets Start from the begning.

Once you have built the views, in the context option, make the value nodes and attributes.

Now double click on the option Component controller. Build the corresponding value nodes and attributes in it. NOw come to the project component and double click on it. A new sub screen will be opened, this will be having views created, component controller view and the used model view.

By using the data link option, connect the views with the component controller. You will see a screen with the nodes. Now you can map the respective nodes.

Plz reward, if useful.

Umang,

Appreciate your answer. Your answer talks about the regular mapping between the View and the controller when the data is readily available or user inputs them. I am looking for populating the context using the PDF(binary file) that has been uploaded by the user. Can you please explain me your scenario for this technical case.

Thanks!
