Reservation in Service Orders

Hi,

In Service Orders (T Code IW31), when I mention components in the "Components" tab page, System should create Reservations only if Stock is available (ATP) otherwise it should create PR (of type Stock Transfer) directly. However Item Category in the Component List will be "L Stock Item".

How do I address the above scenario ?

hi

Since you are mentioning the item category has L stock item then system will not create PR if the stock is less, what the sytem will do is it will create reservation and it will be converted in to PR once you run the MRP run

Thanks for your response.

If there is a way (workaround or enhancement) to create PR itself for the Stock Item (based on availability), then we can avoid MRP. Is it not possible ?

Hi

why you want to genearate PR for Stock items

When there is STD Sap process through MRP

Please tell any specific reason or you want prioroty to be in the PR generated after MRP run
