Taking Backup in Harddisk

Hi Experts,

I want to take backup of the Production Data into a Harddisk, can anyone explain me the procedure on how to perform the task without any error.

what kind of system is this?

if this an IDES system for personal use, then stop SAP, stop Oracle and copy all database file onto our other disk.

This is our Production System and i need to take the backup from DB13 into my harddisk for test purpose on how the Brtools.

Please give me a clear guidance on this.

Use BRTOOLS to perform online database backup to hard disk.

Than also backup archive logs.
