Thanks,

I agree with what Harish has to say.
Please refer to help.sap.com - link to [DP|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm41/helpdata/en/8a/9d6937089c2556e10000009b38f889/frameset.htm] where you will find the answers.
As regards your last question:
Q. What are the different methods by which one can upload the Sales order into the APO system?
You will not get a straight answer from help but there are two common ways -
1. If it is for pure DP purpose - like carrying out Statistical Forecast based on past history data i.e. Sales Orders then extract Sales Orders from R/3 to APO BW Cube and then from the cube load to your DP Planning Area. This way the Sales Order data will be in Time Series form.
2. If it is for SNP or PPDS relevant planning purpose then you use the CIF to transfer Sales Orders real-time from R.3 to APO. This way the Sales ORder data will be in Order Series form.
Also the subject line is not appropriate as your questions are not related to APO BW i.e. Data Mart instead they are basic DP functionalities.
You can refer to the SCM - APO - DP Wiki (see third sticky thread on this forum for more details).
